ASET Board of Trustees Mid-Year Meeting

The ASET Board of Trustees (BOT) held their mid-year meeting in Kansas City, MO, on March 6, 2020, where they welcomed ASET’s newest staff member, Membership Manager, Darla Hall who joined ASET in December 2019.

During the meeting, the BOT approved a job description for a Neurophysiology Information Systems Analyst developed by the Standards & Practices (S&P) Committee. A task force will be organized to develop educational materials to support individuals in this role. The BOT also approved job descriptions, national competencies and evaluation checklists for autonomic testing which were developed by a task force of subject matter experts in collaboration with the S&P.

The BOT approved the appointments of Lindsay Joslyn as the new Chairperson of the Volunteer & Leadership Development Committee and Debby Baydoun as the new Chairperson of the Scholarship and Awards Committee.

The ASET Board of Trustees quarterly monitoring webinar is scheduled for May 27, 2020.

Board Invites Nominations for 2020 Trustees Award 

The Trustees Award is the Society’s highest honor. The award may be given to an individual, institution, neurodiagnostic program, or industry supplier who, through a body of work, has made a profound impact on the neurodiagnostic profession and contributions to the advancement in the improvement of quality patient care. Nominees also represent an extraordinary commitment to the profession or to ASET, and reflect the values, ideals and ethics of the profession. Nominations for the 2020 Trustees Award are now open.
