Department of Education Update

ASET hosted the first-ever Virtual Conference in August, attracting a record turn out — close to 1,000 attendees. Much of the feedback we received after the event encouraged us to look into doing more virtual events in the future. With this in mind, we are investigating the possibility of live streaming a portion of lectures at the next year’s Annual Conference. Ironically, for every response asking us to keep a virtual offering, an equal number of technologists told us they look forward to the live event since it offers the opportunity, not just to learn, but to network with sponsors and exhibitors, and peers.

Hopefully, we can be together again in person next year. Save the date for the 2021 Annual Conference: August 19–21 in San Diego, California. For those of you who missed the virtual conference, don’t despair! The recordings have been converted into webinars and are now available for purchase in the ASET Store.

Upcoming Events

Fall Seminar

The Department of Education has several upcoming events planned. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our Fall boot camp due to COVID-19. However, we are excited to try something else new as we dip our toes into the virtual learning pool. The first event of this 4-week live event, “Skill Building for EEG Pattern Recognition,” was held on October 20 and 27. The rest of the sessions will take place on November 3 and 10.

November Webinar

On November 18, we are hosting an extended webinar focused on Autonomic TestingClick here to learn more and enroll.

Epilepsy Awareness Day

ASET is a proud participant at Epilepsy Awareness Day. This year will be no exception. The good news is since this event is now virtual, we are hoping many more people can attend. Epilepsy Awareness Day will be November 2 and 3. Visit the website for more information and a full program schedule.
