The Department of Education is busy planning the 62nd ASET Annual Conference. This year’s conference will be a hybrid event held on August 19-21, with the in-person event in San Diego, CA. Speaking of the Annual Conference, don’t miss an opportunity to attend for free — who doesn’t love free?! The ASET Foundation partners with numerous corporate supporters to fund scholarships for ASET members. If you’re interested, submit this application by May 15.

It is also the exciting time of year when we encourage you to honor an educator in the field of Neurodiagnostics who has impacted you positively. The prestigious Theda Sannit Outstanding Educator Award is given at the Annual Conference. The deadline to nominate is May 15.

As you are probably aware, the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS) updated the standardized critical care EEG terminology this year. The May webinars will discuss the new terms for both adult and pediatric populations. We are running a buy one, get one special for these webinars. Under the titles Update on Standardized Adult EEG Terminology presented by Lawrence Hirsch, M.D., FACNS and Update on Standardized Neonatal EEG Terminology presented by Alissa Finley, BS, R. EEG T., CLTM, these webinars will take place on May 18 and 19.
